In-House Lingual Everyday,
Keeps the Lab Away…
The number of adult patients is increasing in our daily practice alongside with their requirements, making the demand for lingual orthodontics greater than ever, because it is the only completely invisible system available so far. Lingual orthodontics must be an accessible service in any orthodontic office and not only the exclusivity of certain specialists. We have to keep in mind that our conventional “orthodontics and dento-facial orthopedics” must represent the majority of our treatments, due to the biomechanical limits and the expensive laboratory fees of lingual orthodontics. Our seminar will consist in an introduction to lingual orthodontics, its biomechanics, and a simple method to incorporate it in our offices. We will also make a point on a niche market that can increase our services and the number of patients without the need for complicated and costly laboratory procedures.
